Serres
Serres is Yorgos Dousos debut album. It is an all-flute album. The music is made by flutes, extended techniques, effects, and the body of the performer. The use of loops creates unique soundscapes with meditative qualities, that stand as the ground for improvised neo-folk, avant-pop, minimal melodies. Serres is the birth city of the artist and in his solo album he re-traces childhood memories through melodic dreamscapes and evocative sounds; looking at origins as an homage to the irreparable weirdness of our personal histories.
